Christmas at Nonnie's

Haley had lots of fun this past weekend celebrating Christmas with Nonnie and Uncle Tom. Nonnie got her a new "walker" toy the she loves!!! She almost runs across the room with it and could not be more proud of herself. Uncle Tom got her a cool new "3 in 1" training bike. It's very fitting that he'd get her first bike seeing as he has quite the collection of bikes himself. If she's anything like her Uncle Tom (and her Daddy), I'm sure this will be the first of MANY.

Little Monkey

I've always called Haley my little monkey so when I saw this hat I just couldn't resist. She seems to like it. : )

Look, it's Santa!!!

We got all bundled up tonight and walked to the Tree Lighting Ceremony in downtown Libertyville. It was really cute! There were carolers, a countdown to the lighting of the tree, and Santa even rode in on a fire truck. HO, HO, HO...those three little words sure do make the kids go wild. You could almost feel the magic in the air.

Gobble Gobble

Wow, so much to be thankful for this year! All of the little things in life have taken on a whole new meaning since Haley has come into our world. It's like we're experiencing things for the first time right along with her.

Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving at Uncle Todd's and had a wonderful day. Grandpa pretty much fed Haley everything in sight...and she loved every minute of it! She sure does love to eat.

Hmmmm.....

I think these two might be spending too much time together.

Haley and Luca

Katie and Luca babysat Haley last weekend and it looks like Luca and Haley had a good ol' time. I think LJ may have a babysitting career in his future.

Luca, Haley said thanks for taking such good care of her. She said she had lots and lots of fun and she's sorry she cried a lot.

Pull 'em down, put 'em back, pull 'em down, put 'em back...

As I mentioned previously, Haley is getting into everything. I managed to capture her in action pulling her books off the shelf. She never tires of it, doing it over and over all day long. Feels a bit like Groundhog Day around here, but I'm not complaining. I just pray she doesn't try to tackle the cable box and DVD player...I wouldn't be surprised.

BTW, right before I took these pics we were on our way out the door. I had gone into the other room for about 20 seconds to get her jacket and car seat and this is what I came back to. Guess she had to sneak in a quick fix.

The baby proofing has begun....

The little stinker is managing to get into everything she shouldn't. I thought we were going to be able to gradually baby proof things...guess I was wrong.

Standing Tall

Now that Haley has figured out how to stand that's ALL she wants to do. It's so cute to watch her practice her new skill. She even stands up in the bathtub and in her crib. We got her this new toy so she can stand and play at the same time. As you can see, it was a big hit!
