Toys, toys, toys!!!

Haley is loving playing with all the new toys she got for Christmas. Mommy and Daddy are still trying to figure out where to put everything...she's taking over! We definitely don't need any more toys for a while. Maybe ever.

First Snow Day

Don't worry (grandparents), a new coat and snow pants are on the way. The first ones I bought were way too big so I ordered some new ones and she'll be all set in no time. This is last years snow suit which was a bit snug, to say the least. She reminded me of the little boy from A Christmas Story. Between the too tight snowsuit and the boots that are still a little big, she could barely walk...but, boy, did she have FUN! As you can see, she really enjoyed eating the snow. Good thing it was fresh. After she polished off a snowball we went for a walk with Cheddar until mom's toes got too cold and we had to go inside. Haley finished her fun filled morning with a sippy cup full of hot chocolate. Yum!

Tis' the Season!

We went to the Tree Lighting Ceremony again this year at Cook Park. Haley was SUPER excited to see Santa, I couldn't believe it. We had the perfect spot, right where he stops to get off the fire truck and into the crowd. She kept saying, "Anta, Anta", and made me follow him for a bit. It was really cute and made my heart melt a little. : )

Posing with Luca in Santa's sleigh. She was NOT happy when we had to get off.
Waving to Santa....
Here he comes...

Haley loved helping mom unwrap all the Christmas decorations. Unfortunately, she likes pulling them off the tree even more. Oh well.

"Touch the Trucks"

This past Saturday we went to downtown Libertyville for "touch the trucks" and pumpkinfest. It was really cute, all the different types of trucks were lined up and down the street for the kids to check out. Haley especially liked sitting on the back of the fire truck with dad, but didn't have much interest in actually going in the trucks (which meant no waiting in line for us...yeah). She also liked climbing on this yellow truck, which I don't even remember what it was, but she thought it looked like grandpa's tractor. She also got to paint a pumpkin, which is now decorating our front steps until we get to carving some.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch on Friday with Katie, Luca, Mary Beth and Jonah. As usual, Haley loved looking at the animals! She also loved taking Jonah for a ride in the wagon. Why can't she just sit in it like a normal kid? She's always up to something! I do love her determination. : ) She makes us smile everyday.

Apple Orchard

Last week Adam took the day off and we took a trip to Apple Holler. There were so many fun activities for Haley that we didn't even have time to do any actual apple picking. We had a great day and left with a yummy bag of apples that we bought on the way out. We are so loving the fall and all that goes with it.

"Gymnastics" Class

Dad got to join us and see Haley in action this week at gymnastics class.

Pasta Fingers

Haley does just as much playing with her food as she does eating it.

Time flies when you're having fun!
