Haley and Jack
Life is great in the Ferguson household! We're LOVING having our little man around. He's such a joy to be around and Haley has been an amazing big sister. She's always saying, "Mom, I love my little brother". Hopefully she'll still be saying that once he learns to steal her toys. :)
Jack is getting so big, almost 7 months already. He's trying desperately to crawl, but hasn't quite figured it out yet. I can't say I'm looking forward to the nonstop chasing...guess I better prepare myself! Also, he seems to be working on his first tooth which will hopefully pop through soon and give him some relief.
Haley will be 3 next month. CAN NOT BELIEVE IT!!! She's a little busy body, always clowning around, never stops talking and rarely sits still. Can't wait for the warmer weather so we can get outside and wear her out a little bit.

Sorry I haven't posted any new pics for so long, our computer was on
the fritz. Needless to say, we've been really busy. Definitely haven't
taken as many pictures as we usually do, but I'll try to fix that asap.
Jack is already falling behind--nothing in the baby book, not many
pictures--definitely suffering from second baby syndrome. Oh well, he's
loved just as much.
Haley started preschool this Fall. She was a little hesitant the first few classes, but now is loving it. She only goes for two hours on Friday's. It's a lot of fun for her and a nice break for mom , although it'd be a lot nicer if it was more than 2 hours a week! She also has been fully potty trained for a few months...yeah Haley!
Jack will be 4 months in a few days...CANNOT BELIEVE IT. Time is flying by!!! I guess I better get to work on that baby book. He's doing great, a lot less crabby, which makes me a lot less crabby as well. : ) We were thinking that maybe since we already had one colicky baby that we'd luck out and get one of those "easy" babies we've heard so much about...no such luck. For the first two weeks he was an absolute angel and gave us a glimpse of "easy baby"....and then he started to cry and didn't stop for like a month! For real, he cried around the clock for a month solid. If he was awake, he was screaming. We all got used to the noise and managed to get through it just fine. Haley did exceptionally well (she wasn't phased a bit). It's slowly getting better, less crying and lots more smiles. Still needs to be held most of the time and doesn't like to stray too far from mama, but that's ok. Even with all the fussiness, he is still such a sweet, sweet little boy. I can already tell he has Adam's personality, can't ask for much more.
Here are a few recent pics. More to come soon...

Note to self: DO NOT try and stage a "matching jammies" photo shoot after hours of trick or treating. Total disaster! |

Summer Love
We've been trying to pack in loads of summertime fun before Haley's little brother arrives. We've been keeping ourselves busy hitting the beach, pool, parks, library, swim lessons, farmer's markets, carnivals, strawberry farm, etc. And...we're even going to try and squeeze in the Lake County Fair which is only days before Jack is born. Needless to say, Haley is love, love, loving summer! She's also very excited to meet her little brother, as are Mommy and Daddy. In just about a week he'll be here...finally.
