Sunday Funday

Today we got up and went to the park and enjoyed the beautiful day. Sorta felt like fall weather this morning and we were lovin' every minute of it. Haley had a great time swinging on the swings, climbing a tree and playing in the grass with momma. She's getting so big so fast! I can't believe she's almost 6 months old already.

We're off to see the wizard...

Haley and I decided to embrace this rainy weather and lounge around in our jammies all day. We watched Wizard of Oz...one of my favorites! Haley was actually quite interested in it for a while. She only made it half way through before falling asleep, but still.

Butternut Squash

Today I made Haley some yummy butternut squash. I'm pretty sure she liked it.

Fun day in the city

Yesterday Adam took the day off and we enjoyed a fun day in the city doing all sorts of touristy stuff. Haley loved Millenium Park and took a nice snooze as we strolled along the lakefront. Later in the evening we met up with Andy, Amber, AJ and April (wow...lots of A's) for dinner. Haley missed out on their company as she slept all through dinner. Oh well, after the mini meltdown she had in the car on the way over I guess it was for the best!

Rough day at the office...

Corned Beef and Cabbage

Instead of eating corned beef and cabbage this past St. Patrick's day, we were in the hospital welcoming Miss Haley into the world.

Grandpa, Uncle Todd and Jamie came over tonight and Grandpa made us a yummy corned beef and cabbage dinner. Glad I didn't have to wait until next year for one of my favorite meals! Haley was eyeballing Grandpa's plate. Sorry Haley...not this time. Maybe you'll get to try it on your birthday!

Birthday Lunch with Nonnie

Nonnie took us out today for Adam's birthday. We had a great time walking around Lake Forest and sitting outside for lunch.

The Jogger

We got a new jogging stroller...yippee! I wasn't sure if Haley would like it since it's sort of like a recliner. Looks like she does. After our trip to the Farmer's Market she was totally snoozin'. I thought it was unusually quiet.

Ahhh...Summer
